Scholars and scientists continue to hypothesize about what the future of construction will look like.  Do you think it could be possible that a team of small robots could build a structure?  A team of Harvard students turned to nature to see how insects, like termites, work together to build very large structures.  This idea was tested using a small robot and a handful of blocks.  The robots all work together to move the blocks around and create a bigger modular structure.  Check out the video below to see how they do it.

We are still a long way off from robots building housing tracts and office buildings; nonetheless, it is a very interesting concept that might be a reality one day.
